Rufus T. Firefly in his paddock, 3/3/2007
Today Rufus walks to a simple rope around the neck lead, going in and out of our various pastures on "stake out" and service work. He is handled easily by Nancy and and neighbors that fill in for us on farm chores while we are traveling. All our visitors love to visit and talk with him. He is really fine. He is gentle with all the other livestock. His offspring have each distinguished themselves as have lots of good milk, and delivering and rear a minimum of twins to as many as quadruplets.
Yes he is easy going and a real charmer. . .

The frisky "Rufus T Firefly" is a ham for a photo opportunity. He wanted to grow up and be in the movies, instead he grew up to be a ladies man.
