Calved April 10, 2007, weight 38# with no assistance. Mother has excellent sweet milk. He is a cross of Miniature Registered Hereford MB MARTIN LUTHER x Old World Jersey JOSIE. His disposition is calm and playful.

In the training of his mother to milk I put him up over night in a corral pen by himself. In the morning I milk his mother by hand. When I have collected about 8 lbs. of milk I turn in with me and he suckles two teats while I continue on the other two. We get along well.

He enjoys playing playing hide and go seek with our herd dog Dixie. Here he thinks he is hiding from her behind this water tub.

The calves like to line up and see what Dixie will do next.
